Climate Breakfast 14: Citizens as co-creators of the climate transition

During the second Climate Breakfast of the fall, we were visited by Agneta Persson, CEO of Anthesis Sweden, Ann-Kristin Belkert and Charlotte Hauksson, who told us about their findings. Elin Sundqvist from the City of Helsingborg and Lili André from FPX also reflected on the theme.

During the two subsequent breakfasts, we will discuss two other development projects:

  • 13 October is about digitalization and digital tools.
  • 20 October on climate investment plans

Albert Edman, Viable Cities internationalization strategist, has been the contact person for the civic engagement strategy.

- The ambition is that these strategies together will provide new knowledge for the revision of the climate contracts at the end of the year and also lift the work at an international level, for example based on the proposals on citizen engagement raised in the EU Mission Board report "100 climate-neutral cities 2030 - by and for citizens".

Agneta Persson from Anthesis Sweden has written a blog post on how to engage citizens in the climate transition, which you can read here.
