Seminar | Tuesday 21 November
Is digitalization an obstacle or an opportunity for sustainable societal development? How do we ensure that more efficient processes also contribute to sustainability? What are the concrete environmental problems that digitalization can solve? KTH invites you to a full day on how Sweden can digitalize for sustainability.
For ten years, the Centre for Sustainable Communications at KTH has researched the role of digitalization for sustainable development. During the day, we take a holistic approach to how IT can contribute to solving major societal problems. We share lessons learned from our research and talk with representatives from politics, business and government agencies.Participants include the Minister for Digitalization Peter Eriksson, Ericsson's Head of Sustainability Mats Pellbäck Scharp, Stockholm City's Environmental Mayor Katarina Luhr and Viable Cities Program Manager Olga Kordas, KTH.In the morning, we invite you to ten parallel discussion stations on digitization and sustainability challenges. In the afternoon, there will be panel discussions and speakers who share their perspectives on how and why digitalization plays a role in sustainable development. The day ends with an open mingle.
