On April 20, it was time for Viable Cities' member organizations to gather for the Annual General Meeting and Strategy Day. The AGM itself was completed quickly and the rest of the day was devoted to insight into current activities and creative exercises.
During the strategy day, Åsa Minoz interviewed members of the program management team and representatives from several municipalities that were present. Viable Cities board members then had the opportunity to reflect on what was said.
Several workshops were held during the day, allowing participants to come together and discuss the issues they feel are important to move forward with the urban climate transition.
The Strategy Day also included an Open Space element, where participants sit in a circle and discuss various issues together. The aim was to explore different themes based on the question "How can we work together to speed up the transition in cities?". Some insights that emerged were that the municipalities would benefit from meeting more often and discussing different ideas with each other, and that it gave hope to see and hear all the forces in the climate transition working together.
