The Swedish Energy Agency announces SEK 60 million for Swedish participation in the 2018 call within the European cooperation ERA-Net Smart Energy Systems (ERA-Net SES). The projects will help regions and local communities, with ambitious climate and environmental goals, to transition to a completely fossil-free energy system by 2030.
Companies, public organisations, universities and institutes, can apply for support for international development and pilot projects in the area of integrated local and regional energy systems and energy networks. The focus is on innovative system solutions that respond to specific needs in local and regional energy systems and energy networks. In the projects, need owners (such as property owners, local and regional companies, municipalities and county councils, etc.) must be actively involved.
The call has a two-step process where the first step is the submission of sketches by 14:00 on September 11. Full applications must be submitted by November 2.
