The initiative aims to capture innovative solutions from pilot projects in several municipalities. This is to accelerate climate-neutral urban development by enabling new solutions with great potential to become standard in new and existing areas more quickly.
The aim of the project was to develop a method that contributes to the scaling up of sustainable innovative solutions in a more structured and broader way, making it more resource-efficient and creating synergies, for example by collaborating and making joint procurements. An analysis methodology has been developed that includes a scaling-up guide and a scaling-up tool. These have been disseminated for use by the participating cities and other municipalities throughout Sweden. The cities' approach and process of using the tools and guidance needs to be deepened.
