Insights from the first national platforms for climate-neutral cities in Europe, among them Viable Cities, are presented in this NetZeroCities report.  

Three national platforms worked actively as support structures for the climate transition in cities before the launch of the EU Cities Mission, and have a history of cooperation: Viable Cities in Sweden, CitiES2030 in Spain and the National Mission for Climate-neutral Cities in Austria.

These platforms bring valuable experience and insights to the broader collective effort to achieve climate neutrality. In addition, newer initiatives such as the recently established M100 platform in Romania provide important contributions to the common mission, further strengthening the network of national platforms.
