Smart Sustainable Cities is participating in the Smart Cities 2017 conference, November 22-23 at Kistamässan.
Smart Cities consists of a two-day conference of the same name, organized in collaboration between EasyFaris and Geoforum Sweden, and a vibrant exhibition focusing on the smart city and sustainable construction.
We face major challenges as driving forces such as digitalization, urbanization, sustainability goals and globalization change our society. The meeting place Smart Cities 2017 is built around the need to meet these challenges and will be a unique arena where the technical conditions and the latest innovations can be presented and meet users, requirement setters, decision makers and users from the entire civil engineering sector.
The conference consists of both plenary lectures and four niche tracks; Co-creating citizens, Connected infrastructure, Sustainable and safe environment and Urban mobility. The days are filled with inspiring lectures from both Sweden and internationally and the speakers range from researchers, to large companies and practical cases from municipalities and government agencies.
Keynote speakers are:
Boyd Cohen, Director of Research, Professor of Entrepreneurship & Sustainability at EADA Business School
Peter Eriksson (MP), Minister for Housing and Digitalization
Palle Lundberg, City Director of Helsingborg Municipality
