Climate breakfast 26: Scaling up sustainable solutions

Sustainable, innovative solutions for buildings, outdoor environment and mobility that have been implemented in various pilot projects, projects and initiatives need to be captured and become standard solutions for both new production and upgrading of urban areas. Then large-scale sustainable urban development can be achieved.

Project Sustainability becomes standard has developed a tool to ensure that sustainable solutions from pilot projects will fly further - so that sustainability becomes standard throughout cities and municipalities. The process for using the tool may vary in different organizations.

At the climate breakfast, you will meet Lisa Enarsson from the City of Stockholm who initiated the project, Jonas Sondal from IVL who developed the tool itself, Berit Balfors professor at KTH who chiseled out success factors for collaboration and Christine Feuk from SKR who discusses how this tool can contribute to municipal governance.

The project involves: Stockholm, Gothenburg, Malmö, the Mälardal municipalities (in feasibility study), IVL Swedish Environmental Research Institute, the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH), Uppsala University, the Swedish Association of Local Authorities and Regions (SKR), Fastighetsägarna Stockholm.
