Operational climate investments for an accelerated climate transition

This feasibility study will examine how limited climate investment plans for a municipal administration and a municipal company can be designed to clarify how to accelerate the climate transition and make costs and societal benefits visible. The preliminary study will develop operational approaches and an inclusive process to strengthen the local capacity for transition.

The work will result in a method for delineating a climate investment plan, which will be used for the municipal organization's activities. The preliminary study will explore how a bottom-up perspective can anchor and clarify the transition, as well as the pros and cons of an activity-specific development. The ambition is that delimited climate investment plans more quickly create internal dialog within the municipality and make visible how financial resources need to be allocated and used.

The initiative is part of the Viable Cities call #13.
