Small-scale electricity supply

through active management and innovative storage of solar electricity

This feasibility study aims to investigate and verify the conditions for a demonstration project regarding flexible energy systems in buildings based on solar electricity, local storage and controllable loads in the newly established district of Brunnshög in Lund municipality.

The preliminary study will also develop a proposal for how several buildings with flexible energy systems in an area can work together to increase the energy system benefits, resource efficiency and robustness of both the local electricity network and the national electricity system.

The feasibility study will also propose a methodology on how to best evaluate the benefits of these flexible energy systems for the energy performance of the building and the resource efficiency of the system. The feasibility study will be based on user studies to propose the active control solution.
