- Large-Scale Testbed for Prosumers in the Energy Network

The preliminary study Charge, Store, Link aims to investigate and prepare the possibility of establishing a large-scale test bed for citizens to produce and share energy services with each other. Citizens will also be able to deliver goods such as renewable electricity or power balancing to the existing energy market and thus contribute to a sustainable and climate-neutral society.

A large-scale test bed for energy services requires the implementation of several technologies such as production and storage infrastructure as well as control infrastructure and algorithms. Furthermore, a market platform is needed to share and exchange energy services with each other and interact with the energy market.

'The objective of the study is to establish a strategy and project plan for the establishment of this test bed and to investigate how it can be implemented in or build on the existing digital sharing economy test bed established in the framework of the Sharing Cities project.
